A man from Louisiana who repeatedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl and caused her to become pregnant has agreed to undergo castration while he is in prison for 50 years as part of a plea agreement.
Glenn Sullivan Sr., 54, from Springfield, admitted last month to four counts of second-degree rape, according to the New York Post. reported Sullivan agreed to undergo surgical castration instead of chemical castration. Surgical castration is permanent, while chemical castration can be reversed by stopping treatment.
In 2022, the police started an investigation after the girl reported that Sullivan had sexually assaulted her multiple times when she was 14 years old.
