A group of demonstrators went to the main office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja on Friday and requested that the commission restart the inquiry into a previous governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle.
As per Channels TV, Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC Director of Public Affairs, accepted the protest letter on behalf of the Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, and assured the protesters that the commission would thoroughly investigate corruption cases.
