LJ Long and Noah Greco both scored their 100th career points as the Dallas boys lacrosse team defeated Wilkes-Barre Area 13-1 on Thursday.
Long scored two goals and had two assists, while Greco provided two assists to reach the 100-point mark. Andrew Machulsky led Dallas with three goals.
Brody Reh scored the only goal for Wilkes-Barre Area, assisted by Conner Losito. Jimmy Gryskewicz made 30 saves for the Wolfpack.
Tunkhannock achieves 10, Holy Redeemer 8
Ethan Ergott scored four times to help Tunkhannock defeat Holy Redeemer. Colby Dancheck had three goals for the Tigers, while goalie Brian French made 11 saves.
Joey Lipinski had a standout day for Holy Redeemer, scoring six goals and assisting on one more to lead the Royals.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Wyoming Seminary 9, Lewisburg 6
Ellie Kersey scored five goals to lead the Blue Knights to a non-conference win over District 4’s Lewisburg.
Kersey also provided an assist. Laine Cabell, Kylie Romanchick, Emerson Swartz and Sara Williams each scored once for Wyoming Seminary.
Wyoming Area 16, Wilkes-Barre Area 5
A remarkable performance from Jules Gonzales led Wyoming Area past the Wolfpack. Gonzales had nine goals and added three assists, while Addison Byers added five goals for the Warriors.
Anna Vitali and Elizabeth Pachucki each scored two goals for Wilkes-Barre Area.
Scranton Prep 7, Lake-Lehman 3
Prep overcame a strong effort from Lake-Lehman to secure the victory. Alexa Kleinberger led the Classics with three goals.
Sara Womach scored two goals for Lake-Lehman, while Cadence Rindock made seven saves for the Black Knights.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Wilkes-Barre Area 3, Dallas 0
The Wolfpack’s strong season continued Thursday with a sweep of Dallas. Set scores were 30-28, 25-18 and 25-17 all in favor of Wilkes-Barre Area.
Jordany Rodriguez had 15 kills and 18 digs to lead Wilkes-Barre. Jesus Vazquez Jr. and Yelysei Nedzelskyi had 14 and 10 kills, respectively, for the Wolfpack.

WOMEN’S TENNIS
Misericordia 5, Lebanon Valley 3
The Cougars secured their spot in the MAC Freedom championship match with a semifinal victory over Lebanon Valley.
Brianna Pizzano, Lydia Barbour and Isabella Aniska all won two matches for the Cougars, who will face top-seeded Stevens on Saturday.
BASEBALL
Wilkes 3, Marywood 2
The Colonels won their final road game of the season, holding on to defeat Marywood.
Nathan Loch had three hits for Wilkes, scoring once and driving in a run as well. Zach Lloyd pitched six scoreless innings to earn the win for Wilkes.
SOFTBALL
DeSales 4, Misericordia 2
Misericordia lost their first game in the MAC Freedom Tournament to third-seeded DeSales. The Cougars allowed all four runs to score in the third inning after three costly errors.
Bridget Doherty, Nikki Elliott, Casey Funesti and Emily Susanj each had two hits for the Cougars, who will next face FDU-Florham in an elimination game at 2 p.m. on Friday.
TRACK AND FIELD
King’s women in first
The Monarchs women’s team currently holds the lead with 23 team points after the first day of the MAC Championships. Misericordia is in third place with 10 points.
King’s performed well in the hammer throw, securing four out of the eight top positions. Katey Shoemaker came in second with a 47.30-meter toss. Victoria Zultevicz is currently leading the heptathlon with 2,466 points after the first day.
Misericordia is in fifth place with eight points in the men’s competition, while King’s has not yet scored.
