There are rumors that Sam Raimi might have a bigger role in the future of the Spider-Man characters and the Marvel universe, especially with the return of his Spider-Man characters in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and his return with “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” MCUDespite rumors, the director has stated that he doesn't have any future plans with Marvel at the moment.
There have been rumors about Raimi potentially directing the “Avengers” sequel, “Avengers: Secret Wars,” set to release in May 2027, but there's no confirmation of his involvement.
During the red carpet event for the new film “Boy Kills World,” Raimi confirmed that he's not currently working on a Marvel project.
Raimi mentioned that he doesn't have any plans to return to Marvel at the moment, but he would love to in the future.
There have been rumors and hopes for a fourth “Spider-Man” film from Raimi, but he and Tobey Maguire parted ways in 2010 over creative differences, leading to a reboot of the franchise with “The Amazing Spider-Man” starring Andrew Garfield.

Raimi believes that the journey and personal growth of Tobey Maguire's character would determine the obstacles he has to overcome and the choice of the villain for a possible fourth “Spider-Man” film.
Sony, Marvel, and Tom Holland are currently developing another “Spider-Man” movie, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
