Eva Evans, who was famous on TikTok for her content about life in New York and her webseries titled 'Club Rat,' died at 29 on Sunday. The cause of death has not been revealed yet.
Lila Joy Baumgardner, the sister of Evans, shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, expressing her grief over the loss of her sister.
She also mentioned plans for a public memorial in lower Manhattan on Tuesday, followed by a private gathering for close friends and family.
Baumgardner added that she will share more about her deep bond with Eva and the impact of her absence in the coming days.
Evans, who used the handle @itsevaevans, had a significant following on both TikTok and Instagram, where she shared humorous anecdotes about life in New York and offered tips for navigating the city, such as getting discounted Broadway show tickets.
In 2023, Evans transitioned from social media to television with the release of the webseries “Club Rat,” which follows the story of an self-absorbed influencer attempting to navigate the New York dating scene after a viral breakup video. The series, directed by Evans, can now be viewed on Amazon Prime Video.
