"The potential causes of the accident were breaking the road rules and driving too fast.
"The accident blocked the expressway and to prevent any traffic incidents or additional accidents, traffic along the affected route has been redirected temporarily from inward Benin to outward."
However, Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, expressed sadness at how often drivers engage in driving too fast, which frequently leads to fatal accidents.
Uga stated that driving too fast, which is known to be a human factor, should be controlled and kept within the specified limit.
He revealed that the head of the corps has ordered that all commercial vehicles must install speed limit devices to reduce the frequent tragedies on the roads
Uga has, therefore, advised drivers to follow the specified speed limit and pay attention to road signs to reduce the daily loss of lives on Nigerian roads.
