After receiving a complaint from residents, the Lagos State Wastewater Management Office has closed the administrative and kitchen complex of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Jesus Sanctuary, Masha, Surulere, Lagos. They were discharging wastewater into the environment without care.
The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, shared this on Saturday using his X handle.
The statement mentioned, “After receiving a complaint from residents, the Lagos State Wastewater Management Office #lswmomedia closed the administrative and kitchen complex of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Jesus Sanctuary, Masha, Surulere, Lagos for discharging wastewater into the environment carelessly, as stated in the Environmental Management and Protection Law 2017.
