The International Tennis Federation has chosen Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, to host Group III of this year’s Davis Cup Championship.
After participating in the Group IV championships in Kigali, Rwanda in 2023, Nigeria is now back in Group III with Ghana, aiming to move up to Group II in 2025.
From July 15 to 20, 2024, Nigeria will compete with Benin Republic, Namibia, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, and Zimbabwe for a chance to move up to Group II.
The matches will follow a round robin format, and the top three teams will advance to Group II in 2025, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to Group IV in 2025.
