The Nigerian Navy Ship Delta has cautioned criminal elements to stay away from its operating areas or be ready to deal with the results.
The Commander of the NNS Delta, Commodore Abba Muhsin, issued the warning on Saturday following the quarterly route march by the Command's personnel.
The activity started at approximately 6:15 am from the Warri Navy base, went through Okere Road, Airport Road, NPA expressway, and ended at the Navy base.
Muhsin stated, “NNS Delta Areas of Operation is not for the criminals. We are calling on them to leave peacefully while the good people do their legitimate business.
“As long as you want to stay with us, we will get you, therefore, leave before the law catches up on you.”
Discussing the Route March, Muhsin clarified that the exercise demonstrates the Navy’s preparedness, physical fitness, and the true military spirit of its personnel.
“This specific Route March aligns with the core values of the Nigerian Navy, such as: teamwork, professionalism, and integrity. The Route March emphasizes the teamwork aspect, illustrating our collective experience and impact.
“Both officers and ratings understand the significance of enduring long distances without water as part of our training,” he added.
