Just a few days after fans started worrying that “Bluey” might be over, the show is making a comeback with a surprise new episode on Disney+. The new episode, named “Surprise,” will be out at midnight Pacific time on Saturday, or 3 a.m. Sunday morning Eastern time.
The episode will also be shown on Disney Junior at 7 a.m. PT and multiple times throughout the day. The series tells the delightful stories of Bluey, a Blue Heeler dog living with her mom, dad, and sister. It is loved by kids, parents, and others who enjoy its heartwarming fun.
“Bluey” is starting off 2024 as the most streamed series across all audiences.
In the extended-length special “The Sign,” Bluey and her family were still getting used to the idea of selling their home… but then they changed their minds and decided to stay. There are no details about “Surprise” yet, but hopefully the Heelers will continue to stay positive.
The show is broadcasted and streamed to audiences in the U.S. and most other countries through Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney+ as part of a global deal between BBC Studios Kids & Family and Disney Branded Television.
Joe Brumm created and wrote the show. It is produced by the multiple Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family.
