These teams will compete tonight for the 8 seeds in each conference. Here’s your guide to the DraftKings DFS slate, including the Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat matchup and the Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans game.
Coby White from the Chicago Bulls is expected to score 40 Fantasy Points
White achieved a career-high of 41 points against the Hawks recently, showing potential for another strong performance against the Heat, especially with Jimmy Butler possibly absent. Sixers and Lakers Keon Ellis of the Sacramento Kings is projected to score 29 Fantasy Points Hawks and Warriors Ellis has filled in a starting guard role due to the absence of Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk. His strong performance in the Warriors game, with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, demonstrates his valuable contribution as a defensive-minded guard.
DraftKings
Demar DeRozan from the Chicago Bulls is expected to score 46 Fantasy Points
DeRozan's match against the Heat's perimeter defense presents a favorable opportunity for the Bulls forward, particularly with Butler out. His midrange game poses a challenge to the Heat's zone defense, and his ability to read the game gives him significant potential. Jaime Jaquez Jr. of the Miami Heat is projected to score 29 Fantasy PointsJaquez has achieved 15+ points in three consecutive games and is anticipated to be the main forward option for the Heat against the Bulls, likely delivering similar points production along with some defensive stats.
Domantas Sabonis from the Sacramento Kings is expected to score 52 Fantasy Points
We have room to include a third star, so we are selecting Sabonis as our top choice. The absence of Zion Williamson tomorrow weakens the Pelicans' defense against Sabonis, a seven-foot offensive powerhouse at the center position for the Kings.
NBA DFS Value Picks
After finalizing our starting five, let’s complete the roster. I'm considering players who made an impact in the first play-in game and are likely to do the same tonight. All projections are for DraftKings fantasy points.
Jose Alvarado from the New Orleans Pelicans is projected to score 22 Fantasy Points
This performance would be satisfactory for him, but I believe he could do even better due to the pace at which he plays and the likelihood of being guarded by De’Aaron Fox. Although Zion Williamson will not be playing tonight, Alvarado is still expected to make an impact against a vulnerable Sacramento defense.
Harrison Barnes | Sacramento Kings | 29 Fantasy Points
Barnes has not been very steady this season, but he is an experienced veteran with playoff experience. It's possible that the Kings may rely on him more in the postseason than they did in the regular season. He scored 17 points in his first playoff game against the Warriors.
Herb Jones | New Orleans Pelicans | 26 Fantasy Points
Jones is becoming one of my preferred young players due to his defensive skills and determination. Additionally, he can make a significant impact on offense when his shots are going in. He is expected to have a good game tonight, especially with Williamson being absent.

This output would be acceptable for him. but I think he could do even better given the pace he plays at and the fact that De’Aaron Fox will probably guard him. He tends to run a bench unit with Zion Williamson, who is not playing tonight, so it’ll be interesting to see how they use him. But I think he should still make an impact against a poor Sacramento defense.
Harrison Barnes | Sacramento Kings | 29 Fantasy Points
Barnes hasn’t been the most consistent performer this season, but he’s a proven vet with real playoff experience. It’s not crazy to think the Kings might lean on him a little more than in the regular season. He had 17 points in his first postseason game against the Warriors.
Herb Jones | New Orleans Pelicans | 26 Fantasy Points
Jones is becoming one of my favorite young players because of his defense and drive. Plus, he is impactful offensively when his shot is going down. He should have a good game tonight, especially with Williamson out.
