The Army in Nigeria has let go of the traditional leader, Clement Ikolo, who was earlier announced as wanted and apprehended for the brutal killing of 17 soldiers in Delta State on 14 March 2024.
The king was announced as wanted by the Defence Headquarters along with seven others for supposed participation in the incident.
Senator Ede Dafianone acted as a guarantor for his release.
The release occurred at the Army Headquarters and was announced by Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, during a brief.
