Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) expressed concern that leading Republicans were employing Russian propaganda in an attempt to impeach President Biden.
When questioned about Republicans using Russian propaganda in the House, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez responded, “Yes, if you watch any house oversight hearing in the past year, you'll see Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert and others using highly misleading language. Additionally, there was an impeachment attempt on the President Of The United States that originated from a source in communication with Russian intelligence. So it's not just lower-tier individuals involved, but also the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Representative Comer, who considered evidence from someone linked to Russian intelligence to impeach and remove the President. This is very serious.”
Colbert inquired whether the Republicans were aware that it was Republican misinformation, “Did they not realize this was linked to the Russians?”
AOC remarked, “I believe this is an excellent question for Chairman Comer because…it's a valid question, as when they brought us into the SCIF, a confidential space, to review this document, we were stunned, and yet they proceeded. Whether it was done in good faith or not, I can't say, but it's incredibly serious that it reached this level and gained such prominence. Thanks to ranking member, Jamie Raskin, we were able to prevent them from proceeding further.”

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez was accurate. The use of Russian propaganda by House Republicans is a significant matter that should not be overlooked. AOC made a valid point. While we can speculate whether the Republicans were aware of using Russian propaganda, the fact that they attempted to impeach the President with Russian misinformation is crucial and should not be dismissed as common knowledge.
Without Jamie Raskin and the capable House Democrats on the Oversight Committee, James Comer may have succeeded in impeaching Biden with Russian propaganda. Ocasio-Cortez played a vital role in this effort, and there should be a thorough investigation into the Republican use of Russian propaganda.
