“This is a step in that direction,” Thomas said, according to Duane Rankin’s X account. “I want to play two or three more years knowing that I can still play at a high level. Knowing that I can still have an impact on a locker room. It's positive to be signed for the rest of the year, with hopes of building momentum for myself going into next year and free agency.” Thomas also expressed his enjoyment during his second stint with the Suns.“I really like it here. It's a comfortable place to be. These guys welcomed me warmly and they respect the journey I've been on. So I’m just extremely grateful to be with a great group of guys. Not just teammates, but the coaching staff too.”
