In a conversation with Harrison on his podcast, Trista Sutter shared that her husband continues to have his good and bad days and hopes to feel better most of the time. She also highlighted his humility, explaining that even when his condition is quite significant, he is reluctant to complain.
Trista Sutter conveyed that her husband has an exceptional ability to endure pain, which she finds remarkable. She stated that if she were in his position, she would likely be bedridden every day, or possibly even hospitalized.
Ryan Sutter believes that he will always have Lyme disease.
Some patients with Lyme disease are able to manage it and lead normal lives, while others experience symptoms for life.
“A small portion of people, despite treatment, go on to experience persistent symptoms such as fatigue and subjective cognitive slowing. These symptoms improve with time, although it can take months and sometimes years,” the Lifespan organization reports.
