American country singer Thomas Rhett will co-host the Canadian Country Music Association Awards this year.
Organizers state that he'll be joined by Alberta-born singer MacKenzie Porter, who will release her first album later this month.
Rhett’s popular songs include “Die a Happy Man” and “What’s Your Country Song.”
Porter gained recognition in 2020 when she featured on the Dustin Lynch song “Thinking ‘Bout You,” which was on the charts in both the United States and Canada.
The CCMA Awards will take place on Sept. 14.
Last year, the awards were held in Hamilton.
