Calgary police have announced the identity of a person who was killed in southeast Calgary. homicide The victim was identified on Tuesday.
Authorities received a report of an attack at a home on Prestwick Terrace Southeast around 8:25 a.m. on Monday, where they found a man dead. The perpetrator had already left the scene.
The Calgary Police Service said they arrested a man at a nearby shopping plaza shortly after. They stated that no other suspects are being pursued.
Officials stated that the killing was a targeted event with no danger to the public.
Police later revealed the victim's name as Joel Aaron Clark, aged 46, from Calgary.
