Jimmy Fallon, like many New Yorkers, found the 4.8 magnitude earthquake very funny. The earthquake hit the greater New York City area. On Friday, the host of “The Tonight Show” joked about the earthquake during his monologue.
During his monologue, Fallon made jokes about the earthquake, including one about Times Square Elmo reacting to it.
Fallon added, “No one is ready for an earthquake. The last thing New York is expected to see this morning was the Statue of Liberty twerking.”
Fallon continued with more jokes about the earthquake, including the NYPD saying it didn't cause subway damage and mentioning other recent events in New York.
Fallon also joked about the text alerts people received in New York City about the earthquake.
Then Fallon shared a whimsical moment he had during the earthquake.
