Mayor George Brown of Wilkes-Barre has shared the street cleaning schedule for Monday..
The schedule may change depending on the weather.
During street cleaning, signs indicating the day of sweeping will be put up in each neighborhood. Vehicles that are not moved will receive parking tickets.
Residents are reminded to pay attention to the posted signs on the streets where they park.
The city will announce additional neighborhood sweeping schedules as they are planned.
The tentative schedule for Monday includes:
S. Main Street – E. Division Street to E. Ross Street – (right side)
W. River Street – W. South Street to Academy Street – (left side)
Academy Street – S. Main Street to Old River Road – (left side)
Stanley Street – Academy Street to Riverside Drive – (left side)
Terrace Street – Stanley Street to W. River Street – (left side)
Mallery Place – W. River Street to Stanley Street – (left side)
New Mallory Place – Irving Place to Old River Road – (left side)
Irving Place – Academy Street to Old River Road – (left side)
Susquehanna Street – Carey Ave. to Elder Street – (left side)
Elder Street – Susquehanna Street to Academy Street – (left side)
Orchard Street – Susquehanna Street to Carey Ave – (left side)
