Trump and Republicans aim to focus on the economy, but the Biden economic growth persists as the US economy has now generated over 15 million jobs since the Democrat took office.
Biden responded to the March employment figures in a statement:
The current report signifies a significant achievement in America's recovery. Three years ago, I inherited a fragile economy. With the recent report of 303,000 new jobs in March, we have surpassed the milestone of creating 15 million jobs since I assumed office. That equates to 15 million more individuals earning the respect and decency that comes with a paycheck.
My objective is to expand the economy from the middle and bottom, investing in all Americans, and offering the middle class an equitable opportunity. Unemployment has remained below 4% for the longest period in over 50 years. Wages are increasing, and inflation has notably decreased.
We have made substantial progress, but I will not cease advocating for hardworking families. I am taking measures to reduce expenses, ranging from lowering the cost of insulin, inhalers, and prescription drugs, to eliminating unnecessary fees. I am urging large corporations to share their record profits with consumers. Additionally, I will continue to oppose the endeavors of Congressional Republicans to reduce Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and implement substantial tax benefits for the affluent and large corporations.
Biden The nation has achieved a significant milestone, yet the President is correct. Corporations are still leveraging inflation as a justification to maintain high profits and prices. The subsequent step will involve the administration cracking down on corporations that exploit American consumers through overpricing.
What President Biden has accomplished has been truly monumental. and it completely refutes Trump's assertion that the country was in a better state four years ago. Although COVID persists, people are not confined to their homes, unemployed, falling ill, and dying from the coronavirus as they were four years ago.
The 'are you better off' argument is a typical strategy of non-incumbent presidential campaigns, but the job figures during Biden's term indicate that, in response to Trump's inquiry, Americans are unquestionably in a better position now than they were four years ago. Furthermore, with the possibility of a second term and a Democratic majority Congress, things could potentially improve even more.
