The comedy movie “Summer Camp,” starring Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, and Alfre Woodard, will be released in theaters in May through Roadside Attractions, as announced on Friday.
The story of “Summer Camp” revolves around Nora (Keaton), Ginny (Bates), and Mary (Woodard), who have been close friends since their time at summer camp. Despite growing apart over the years, they decide to reunite for a summer camp reunion, with varying levels of enthusiasm. Though their lives may not have gone as planned, one thing is certain – they need each other, and summer camp serves as a reminder of that.
Castille Landon directs and writes, with Eugene Levy, Beverly D’Angelo, Dennis Haysbert, Nicole Richie, and Josh Peck appearing in supporting roles.
The Co-Presidents of Roadside Attractions, Howard Cohen and Eric d’Arbeloff, expressed their excitement for the film, praising the joy the cast brought to the project. They highlighted the camaraderie among the women involved and the genuine fun they had during filming.
