Police are continuing their efforts to locate a hit-and-run driver who struck two teenagers in Caledon. Caledon This incident occurred in November and resulted in serious injuries for one of the victims.
The Ontario Provincial Police have renewed their request for information about the incident.
The collision took place on Nov. 21, injuring two pedestrians at Albion Vaughan Road near Queensgate Boulevard.
Authorities stated that the pedestrians were walking southbound around 4:30 p.m. when they were hit from behind by a vehicle.
A 14-year-old boy sustained minor injuries, while a 16-year-old girl was left with life-threatening injuries. However, both are expected to fully recover.
At the scene, investigators found crucial evidence including an after-market right side mirror, believed to be from an early-2000s model light brown or grey Toyota Camry or Corolla.
The vehicle is also expected to have damage to its front-right corner and headlight area.
Authorities are urging the driver and any passengers to come forward.
