Peel Regional Police reported that a man has died and another has serious injuries following a multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga on Thursday night.
Authorities stated that the three-vehicle collision occurred just before 10 p.m. near Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue.
Paramedics informed Global News that they took two individuals to the hospital.
Following a subsequent update, police confirmed that one man had died and another was in critical condition.
The intersection was shut down for the investigation, and the cause of the crash is currently unknown.
