Police say that a woman from Hamilton has died following a crash involving a single vehicle in Waterdown, Ont., on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators report that the deadly crash occurred on Concession 5 East near Robson Road just after 5 p.m.
It's believed that a 34-year-old was driving a Dodge Durango that veered off the road and hit a tree.
She passed away from her injuries in the hospital, as per investigators.
Concession 5 East was shut down for several hours but had reopened by Friday morning.
This marks the fifth traffic fatality in Hamilton for 2024.
