Fox News announced on Thursday that Greg Gutfeld has signed a new contract, securing his role on the network.
The extended deal means Gutfeld will continue co-hosting the network’s roundtable talk show “The Five” and his 10 p.m. ET primetime program “Gutfeld!” – a show focused on comedy and meant to compete with traditional late-night talk shows.
He is also set to create occasional content for the network’s streaming service Fox Nation.
FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised Gutfeld, saying, “Greg has truly connected with our audience for over 17 years with his unique political and cultural commentary, humor, and strong writing. Since launching three years ago, his show has become the most-watched in the genre, surpassing all other late-night programs on TV. We are proud to continue hosting Greg and his top-rated late-night program.” Gutfeld! Gutfeld expressed his gratitude, stating, “Since joining FOX News in 2007, I have been given the freedom to be myself and provide a unique experience for our audience. It's rare to have this kind of creative freedom on many platforms, and I'm proud to be part of Suzanne's team.”
This marks the first contract extension for Gutfeld since he became the “king of late night” in 2022.
