Man, 23, dies in a vehicle-pedestrian accident in God’s Lake Narrows, as per Manitoba RCMP.
Local police were summoned to Wasahak Road in the northeastern Manitoba community at approximately 10 p.m. on March 28, where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquiry found that the man — who authorities say was lying on the road — was struck by a commercial water truck. The truck’s driver, a 31-year-old woman from God’s Lake Narrows, immediately stopped the truck and alerted the police.
Investigation by the RCMP is ongoing.
