Calgary police are searching for a suspect who assaulted someone in the southeast area

The Calgary Police Service is seeking a man who reportedly attacked another man in the southeast area of the city last December.

A news release on Wednesday morning stated that two men were involved in a physical fight outside the Deerfoot Inn and Casino at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.

Authorities stated that they believe an unidentified man approached the victim and allegedly physically attacked him, including punching and hitting him with a glass. Security personnel intervened to stop the fight, and the suspect fled before the police arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital.
