The tech company, based in Waterloo, Ontario, reports its earnings in U.S. dollars. earnings It reported a fourth-quarter loss of 10 cents US per share, compared to a loss of 85 cents US per share a year earlier.
BlackBerry's revenue for the quarter ending Feb. 29 was $173 million, up from $151 million in the previous year's fourth quarter.
Its internet of things business brought in $66 million, an increase from $53 million in the previous fourth quarter.
The cybersecurity revenue amounted to $92 million, up from $88 million in the previous year.
Recently, BlackBerry has been working to separate its Internet of Things and cybersecurity divisions.
