An individual from Peterborough, Ontario, has been charged with multiple indecency offenses following incidents at Jackson Park.
Peterborough police report that at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, law enforcement responded to the north-end park regarding a man allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior in public.
A suspect was located and taken into custody.
Police say they confirmed that the man was the same individual sought in connection with two incidents reported on Saturday, which resulted in numerous 911 calls. Authorities state that on that day, they searched the park but were unable to find the suspect.
The 40-year-old man has been accused of three counts of engaging in an indecent act.
