A crash occurred in northwest Calgary on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in one person being taken to the hospital in serious condition.
As outlined by a spokesperson from the Calgary Police Service, the crash, involving a single vehicle, occurred on a ramp near Stoney Trail and Country Hills Boulevard Northwest at approximately 12:45 p.m. The ramp is currently closed as an investigation is underway.
The Calgary Fire Department rescued one individual from the vehicle, who was then taken to the hospital in serious condition, as confirmed by an EMS spokesperson to Global News. This individual was the driver of the vehicle.
