Saskatchewan RCMP said a man from La Ronge, Sask., is in custody and due in court on Thursday after being charged with second-degree murder.
Thirty-three-year-old Brad Ratt has been accused of the death of 52-year-old Sharon Brown.
The death of Sharon Brown is being investigated by the Saskatchewan Major Crimes Unit.
Brown was discovered injured at a residence on Far Reserve Road in La Ronge by the RCMP on Sunday and was declared dead at the scene.
Ratt was put in custody and will have a court appearance in La Ronge on Thursday.
