Emergency services in Kelowna hurried to a small fire near Highway 97 and McCurdy Road on Tuesday morning.
A video showed a tree on a hillside covered in flames with members of Kelowna's fire department putting it out.
The fire was swiftly brought under control.
Meanwhile, city crews were cleaning up a nearby homeless camp.
