HGTV Star Mina Starsiak Hawk is a mother of two children, Jack (5) and Charlie (3), and she reflects on the beginning in a post on Instagram from March 31.
Starsiak Hawk wrote a caption for the video saying that her husband Steve showed her a clip from a longer video of her telling him about her pregnancy with Jack while they were filming 'Good Bones'.
While fans Mina telling her husband was shown in the “Mina’s Forever Home” episode of “Good Bones” season 4 when it was aired on HGTV in June 2019. After having their son Jack, Mina and Steve had difficulty conceiving for the second time, prompting them to consider IVF. They decided to document the process for HGTV, with
“Mina’s Journey” currently available on the HGTV YouTube channel After experiencing failure with IVF, Mina’s doctor suggested alternate options, leading Mina to try IUI. She referred to it as her “Hail Mary.” Fortunately, her attempt was successful, and she was able to share her pregnancy news with her family and friends, have a 2 Chicks and a Hammer-themed gender reveal, and welcome her daughter Charlie into the world 9 months later..
In the final part of the “Mina’s Journey” video series, Mina and Steve were shown taking baby Charlie home and Jack holding her for the first time. Jack was visibly happy and even gave his baby sister a kiss on the forehead.
