Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, stated that President Bola Tinubu is working hard to "improve the nation."
She confirmed that her husband would return to a better Nigeria after his term as President.
Mrs. Tinubu expressed during an Iftar gathering at the State House, Abuja, that "Mr. President will do all it takes to make the nation better, so that even when we live here, we will go back to a better Nigeria."
The First Lady’s Special Adviser on Media, Busola Kukoyi, revealed this in a statement titled, 'First Lady Oluremi Tinubu hosts former first ladies, governors' wives, others at Iftar,' on Sunday.
She also emphasized that getting the nation back on track requires collective efforts, stating, "We all have tasks to do to get this nation back on track."
Mrs. Tinubu observed that the various social investment programs of the administration are progressing well and the results are becoming visible.
Earlier, the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima, encouraged all women to support one another.
Similar to the First Lady, Mrs. Shettima argued that governance is a shared responsibility, urging women to remember the nation in their prayers, particularly during these last 10 days of Ramadan.
The guest lecturer, Prof. Rafatu AbdulHammed of the University of Abuja, advised women to uphold what they learned during Ramadan and continue in that path.
AbdulHammed mentioned that living with love, piety, humility, and tolerance would improve the lives of Nigerians.
The women prayed for the nation, the President, and the world.
The attendees included former First Ladies of Nigeria, female judges, governor's wives, female ministers, ministers' wives, and service chiefs' wives.
