The Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress suspended Maryam Suleiman, the Women Leader, for criticizing Governor Uba Sani about the large debt left by the former administration.
The party decided to take action against Suleiman, accusing her of serious wrongdoing.
The party officials Ali Maishago and Zakkah Bassahuwa signed the suspension notice dated March 31. It mentioned that the women leader was suspended for allegedly damaging the governor's reputation.
The suspension letter also claimed that Suleiman was involved in planning an attack on the governor’s political adviser, Manzo Maigari, allegedly carried out by thugs.
