On Saturday, Air Peace began flying from Lagos to London.
The service started one month after it was announced. announced Air Peace had planned to start nonstop flights to London on March 30 during an event in February.
In November, the Chairman and CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, announced that the airline had obtained permits to operate in foreign countries, including Europe and the UK.
This means the airline is now allowed to fly to Europe and the United Kingdom.
The news was shared on Air Peace X's platform on Saturday.
The airline stated, "We have started the London service and are pleased to have achieved another milestone in our efforts to connect cities peacefully.
"We want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this launch.
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anita, were present on the inaugural flight to London, along with others.
