The New York Jets already have several quarterbacks on the roster behind Aaron Rodgers, but the team is still seen as the best choice for injured draft prospect Jordan Travis.
Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski analyzed the top injured prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft and the best potential fits for them. Travis, the former Florida State quarterback, was highlighted, with Sobleski suggesting that the Jets could be the right match for him.
“For a franchise with an older or uncertain quarterback situation, without the benefit of a top-five draft pick, Travis could be an interesting developmental addition,” Sobleski wrote
This aligns with the Jets, who might be looking for a long-term replacement for Rodgers, who turns 41 years old in December. It’s unclear how long he’ll be able to continue playing following a season-ending Achilles injury.

Travis experienced one of the most severe injuries of the 2023 college football season. Fortunately, it appears that he’ll be set for his rookie year in the NFL.
