A 40-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash in Richibouctou-Village, N.B., on Thursday night.
In a statement released on Saturday morning, police reported that emergency responders arrived at the crash site on Richibouctou-Village Road around 10:30 p.m.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died at the scene from his injuries, the police stated.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office are helping with the investigation into the fatal crash.
Police mentioned that an autospy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of the man’s death. The victim was from the same community where the crash happened.
