President Joe Biden’s $25 million fundraiser in New York City was interrupted on Thursday by several pro-Palestine demonstrations, including one protester who recorded herself yelling from the back of the audience at Radio City Music Hall.
“Shame on you, Joe Biden! You are supporting the killing of many people in Palestine,” she shouted, despite the disapproval of those around her. “You are responsible for this.”
Videos of the incidents started spreading on social media late Thursday. In another protest, a man in the balcony was shown raising the Palestinian flag.
“How can you speak about the innocence of Palestinians when they are currently dying because of what you are doing?” the man shouted to his unidentified seat mate. “Palestinians are dying right now because of your actions, the blood is on your hands.”
Both protesters were quickly approached by security and the secret service.

The documented incidents, which occurred in the middle of the fundraising event at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan, were reviewed by TheWrap. During the event, Biden was on stage with former Democratic presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, participating in a moderated conversation with “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.
Protests started outside Radio City Music Hall in the hours leading up to the star-studded event, which was supposed to include musical performances from Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Lea Michele. Hundreds of pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered on 50th Street and 6th Avenue, holding signs with messages like “From the river to the sea” and “Cease-fire now,” while also directing increasingly focused messages at Biden.
“‘Genocide Joe’ Biden: CEO of Imperialist Murder, Inc.” read one sign. Another read, “Biden, Democrats. Strikebreakers, war makers.”
Several physical altercations between protesters and the NYPD were also shared on social media. Other videos showed protesters chanting “Genocide Joe has got to go” together with enthusiasm and musical harmony.
