Larry David strongly criticized Donald Trump in an upcoming interview with CNN's Chris Wallace. He referred to the former president as a 'little baby' who has disregarded 250 years of democracy.
The full interview is set to be aired on Friday.
The preview clip, released by the news network and circulated on social media on Wednesday, starts with Wallace asking the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' creator, 'So how much has the whole 2020 election and everything that has flowed from it pissed you off?'
David seized the chance, criticizing the former president and 2024 Republican presidential nominee with a passionate anger not commonly seen from the famously grumpy comedian.
Notably, David didn't mention Trump by name, but it's clear who he's talking about.
He stated, 'I mean, you can't go a day without thinking about what he's done to this country because he's such a little baby that he's thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of an election. I mean, it's so crazy.'
He went on to label the embattled politician, who refers to the convicted Jan. 6 insurrectionists as 'hostages' and 'patriots' in their attempt to overturn the 2020 election results, as 'a sociopath.'
He added, 'He's so insane. He just couldn't admit to losing. And we know he lost, he knows he lost. Look how he's fooled everybody. He's convinced all these people that he didn't lose. It's – he's such a sick man. He's so sick.'
Staying true to his style, the 'Seinfeld' cocreator couldn't resist a punchline.
'Anyway, no, it hasn't affected me at all,' he joked.
