Two individuals got arrested this week after a drug investigation in Bancroft, Ont.
As part of the inquiry that began in early March, the OPP's East Region community street crime unit seized about $6,500 worth of fentanyl, nearly $5,000 in cash, and a mobile phone.
The inquiry resulted in the apprehension of two individuals, with one of them being sought on an outstanding warrant.
A 26-year-old man from Bancroft faced 11 firearm-related charges, including carelessly using a firearm, and three counts of possession against a prohibition order, one count of possessing for drug trafficking, possessing property obtained through crime under $5,000, and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
He was detained and was set to appear in Belleville court on Wednesday.
A 41-year-old woman from Bancroft was charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm. She was released and is scheduled to appear in Belleville court later.
