Manitoba RCMP reports they have a suspect in custody for a Pimicikamak Cree Nation killing.
Authorities were called to a residence on SawMill Road in the community on Monday afternoon, and there they discovered the body of a 45-year-old woman.
Shawn McKay, 23, who was taken into custody at the location, has been charged with second-degree murder by the RCMP on Tuesday.
The authorities think McKay and the victim were familiar with each other.
