“The View” experienced a bit of chaos within the first 10 minutes of Tuesday’s show. This time, moderator Whoopi Goldberg stood up from the table during the show to scold someone in the audience for filming from their seat.
During a discussion on the ongoing influence of Donald Trump on the Republican party, host Alyssa Farah Griffin suggested that other party members should be upset that party funds might not be available to support their future campaigns.
As Sunny Hostin started to speak, Goldberg noticed the audience member recording and asked Hostin to pause momentarily before addressing the audience member and walking towards them.
“Sir, I need to ask you to stop recording with the camera. Because I can see you,” she said. “So, please, refrain from doing that again. I would appreciate it. Thank you.”
Upon returning to her seat, cohost Joy Behar inquired about the man's actions, to which Sara Haines answered, “Recording.” However, the show then continued as usual.
Typically, audience members are instructed to put away their phones before the taping, which is why Goldberg addressed the situation. The audience member in question was allowed to remain for the rest of the show.

“The View” is broadcast on weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
