Before the Supreme Court’s Mifepristone hearing, the Biden campaign and supporters exposed the GOP's deception by mentioning Project 2025 in a conversation with reporters.
Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden's campaign manager, highlighted Project 2025 as a detailed strategy to strip women of their reproductive freedom and access to Mifepristone. She emphasized that Trump's close advisors and allies have openly revealed a comprehensive plan to limit reproductive healthcare, including banning medication abortion and restricting contraception access, without involving Congress. She stated that the President and Vice President are the only candidates who believe that women and their doctors should make reproductive healthcare decisions, not politicians or the government. This is the high stakes in 2024, and they will continue to ensure that every voter is aware of it.
The campaign was referring to Project 2025, which is the comprehensive Trump presidential transition and policy plan outlining how Trump and his allies intend to limit women's reproductive freedom and impose a national abortion ban without Congressional approval.
Later, a reporter inquired about how Democrats can counter Republicans not having a unified plan on abortion.

They will not accept it if they will not stand for it. Therefore, we need to be very clear that we know how to oppose a 15-week abortion ban, which is a ban, and there is no room for compromise on this issue. Secondly, regardless of the GOP's unity, if Trump is elected, he can still enforce a national abortion ban without the involvement of Congress. This is why we talked about Project 2025 and the Comstock Act, as well as all their other plans. Just think about the additional harm they could inflict in four years if allowed to continue.”

Later, a journalist asked about the Democrats' ability to counter the Republicans' lack of a unified abortion plan.
Senator Elizabeth Warren raised concerns about what Republicans in Congress are targeting. She emphasized that Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are prepared to utilize every method available to control women’s bodies, including enforcing a nationwide abortion ban, ending access to IVF, and even impacting contraception access. She pointed out the consequences of allowing Donald Trump and extremists to have their way, including forcing 10-year-old rape survivors to travel across state lines for care, denying emergency care to mothers experiencing pregnancy complications, and obstructing the protection of IVF for families hoping to have a baby.
The Supreme Court hearing about the abortion pill is just the beginning. The Biden campaign is warning that Project 2025 documents their intentions.
The American people must not be deceived by more Republican deception and obscured intentions. Republicans have clearly outlined their plans if Trump wins, and it’s crucial for every freedom-loving American to prevent them from being implemented.
