A semi-truck accident that flipped over has caused the closure of sections of a main road in northeast Calgary on Sunday afternoon.
YYC Transportation wrote on social media that the event is obstructing the eastbound lanes of Country Hills Boulevard and Deerfoot Trail Northeast.
Emergency hazardous materials crews are at the location dealing with the cleanup following the crash, which led to the truck spilling its cargo.
