Former Rep. Liz Cheney reacted to Ronna McDaniel’s presence on Meet The Press by pointing out that McDaniel helped Trump engage in illegal activities.
Ronna aided Trump’s dishonest scheme with fake electors and his attempt to pressure MI officials not to confirm the valid election result. She spread his falsehoods and described 1/6 as “legitimate political discourse.” That’s not “taking one for the team.” It’s supporting criminal behavior and moral decay.
McDaniel justified Trump redirecting RNC donations to cover his legal expenses:

Ronna McDaniel also justified her involvement in Trump’s insurrection plot:

Reporters at NBC News are evidently displeased that McDaniel secured a purported six figure agreement to join NBC News. Chuck Todd stated that the RNC deceived and manipulated journalists for six years while McDaniel was in charge.
Some individuals are attempting to link Ronna McDaniel with the same criminal behavior as Trump, but she has not been accused of a crime.
Liz Cheney is correct.
Ronna McDaniel is someone who supports and enables Trump’s criminal behavior.
The former RNC chair should not have a platform on a major television network to continue promoting lies for and supporting Donald Trump.
There is no way to erase the impact of what Ronna McDaniel allowed to happen to the Republican Party and the country.
She supports criminal activity, and NBC News should not reward McDaniel for her decisions.
