The Minister of Information, Alhaji Muhammad Idris, stated that President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his government's dedication to making sure the current economic challenges in the country are temporary and will soon be resolved.
The minister announced this when he visited Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, at the Government House Kano on Friday.
Idris mentioned that Tinubu’s government will work to improve Nigeria and the lives of Nigerians in the next few days through various programs and policies.
The minister mentioned that the government is intensifying its efforts to fulfill the promises of the campaign and improve Nigerians' lives.
The minister said, “We are instructed by the President, myself as a minister and my team to clarify the government's efforts and what we are doing to address the economic difficulties and reassure the people that the reforms are temporary and the challenges will soon disappear, allowing Nigerians to thrive.”
Earlier, the governor praised Tinubu for responding to calls to reopen the nation’s borders, stating that this action will soon alleviate the suffering of the masses.
He commended the minister for amplifying the policies and programs of the Federal Government, and assured him that the state is committed to supporting the Federal Government in addressing security challenges through the use of technology.
