The Alberta RCMP The Major Crime Unit in Alberta is looking into a shooting that caused the death of a 54-year-old man in Red Deer on Thursday.
Police who were responding to reports of a shooting at an apartment building on Parke Avenue just before 4 p.m. on March 21 saw a man running from the area.
RCMP stated that officers pursued, apprehended, and arrested the suspect. Police mentioned a firearm was confiscated.
Authorities mentioned that a second man was found near the scene and taken into custody.
At the scene of the shooting, RCMP announced they found the body of Jason Cory Worobec.
Lance Michael Bilsky, 45, is charged with second-degree murder.
Corey Duane Archer, 46, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Archer is set to appear in court on March 25, while Bilsky is scheduled to appear on March 27.
