The government agency Environment Canada has given a snowfall warning for Toronto because they expect around 15 cm of snow to come on Friday.
The weather agency said it’s possible that the snowfall rate could reach 2 cm per hour at its peak.
Environment Canada, in its warning before 6 a.m., said that the snow will start on Friday morning and decrease from the west to the east by Friday night.
The weather agency said that light snow will start this morning, but it will get stronger late in the afternoon or evening.
According to Environment Canada, the snow may greatly impact the evening commute in urban areas.
They are cautioning drivers to alter their driving to adjust to changing road conditions because visibility might suddenly decrease at times in heavy snow.
“Surfaces like highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become hard to navigate due to the snow piling up,” said Environment Canada.
