HARVEYS LAKE — The police in Harveys Lake are looking for Billy Joe Ribble, 42, because they believe he did not fulfill the requirements for registered sex offenders.
A warrant for arrest was issued on Wednesday charging Ribble with not registering with the Pennsylvania State Police and not confirming his address with authorities.
The Harveys Lake police got a request from the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Unit to check Ribble’s address on Carnation Lane on Monday, as stated in the criminal complaint.
According to the complaint, Ribble stated his address as Carnation Lane in April 2023, when he last fulfilled the registration requirements.
As per the complaint, the police claim that Ribble left the Carnation Lane property in October, as the property has been sold to someone else since then.
The phone number registered to Ribble has been disconnected.
According to the state police Megan’s Law website, Ribble is listed as an absconder. He was convicted in another state of sexual conduct against a child in April 2003.
Riddle is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 130 pounds, with green eyes, balding brown hair, and a tattoo on his upper left arm of two deer heads with the name “RAYNA.”
Anyone who has information about Riddle’s location is urged to contact Harveys Lake police at 570-639-1620.
